Wellness Retreats

We are committed to supporting service providers who work on the front lines of poverty and welfare issues as well as those who have served in the military, and offer restorative retreat programs to help people heal from the stress and trauma of service.

About our work with veterans

Coming home from war leaves both physical and emotional scars. As we hear in the news on a regular basis, our veterans are returning stateside with the war still stored in their emotional memory and often suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Wellness therapy that works with the body as well as the mind is an important component to successfully overcome PTSD.

We provide Troop Retreats where, at no cost to the veterans, our team of trauma therapists spends 3 days with up to 12 veterans helping them to heal from the traumatic experience of war.

About our Work with Service Providers

Case managers, therapists and other service providers working directly with vulnerable communities can sometimes experience vicarious trauma themselves. While caring for these vulnerable populations, those offering their time and energy may forget or not feel they have the resources to take care of themselves in the process.

We provide Front-Line Workers Retreats where, at no cost to the service providers, they spend 3 days in a restorative flow of meditating, hiking, eating healthily, practicing yoga, and receiving bodywork.
