Join us for the 8th Flow Donation Class
While it feels as though we just left the snow behind, things are starting to heat up and we’re already in week 8 of donation classes at Flow Yoga Center - where has the time gone?
Saturday the 29th Dan Kapner will enlighten you with some moving meditation: an invigorating and fast paced vinyasa practice that’s also grounding, calming, and geared toward students of all levels, incorporating a bit of pranayama that will inspire the mind as well as challenge the body.
Dan was first introduced to yoga at age 14, when his family doctor prescribed three daily stretches to treat upper back pain: bridge pose, plow, and child’s pose. Little did he know these few poses would develop into a transformative yoga practice, a constant that would be nurtured and treasured. As an attorney and former speechwriter at the United Nations, Dan has found yoga as an antidote to the busy life: a source of release, relaxation, fitness and physical well-being, and channel for positive living. Dan graduated in 2010 from Flow Yoga Center’s 200 hour teacher training and is thrilled to share his instruction with the DC yoga community.
